At pinit racing we've finally figured out the correct porting changes on the 300 TBI cylinders. This SX cylinder gained a lot of power, just fixing the casting problems. Thing is, if you don't know what you are doing and have the right tools to cut the nikasil plating, you will quickly ruin your engine. So trust the one that knows. The injectors for the 300 SX /XC have changed between 2023 and 2024-26. Also the SX / XC injectors are quite different than the XCW injectors. You must use an ecu programmed for that particular injector or you'll wish you did https://www.pinitracing.com

The KTM 300 SX top end on the XCW bottom may be the best GNCC or faster off-road set up there is. It now has TONS of power, but also has strong bottom end and a high output stator. The larger flywheel adds chuggability to it and it's not so aggressive in the midrange. As of Dec 6th, 2025, we have NEW outside reeds for the 2023-26 TBI bikes. These must be used with our fiberglass or metal reed strips for a power gain. The reeds can bee used with the stock reed stops, if you are just looking for more reliability against breaking. These work on the 125/150/250 and 300 KTM / HUSQVARNA / GAS GAS TBI BIKES.
