So all great news pal. The carb on the 125 changed everything. He won all his races for the first time ever. Pulled holeshots and never looked back. All of the other bikes were in a dead line and he was 3-4 bikes ahead to the first turn. He's chuffed . That's happy in USA speak. It's funny how much money and time and blown engines we went through, trying to find this kind of power. But like you said, it's ALL about intake filling and if you can't get it in there with velocity x flow, it will never make the power. We ended up with your reed cage and reeds, the 36 PWK since a lot of hills ( we race on sheep farms a lot here ) and the rest is stock. Cheers mate. I'm having a pint in your name tonight. You could just leave your pump in there, honestly. But, if you want more fuel capacity, you can use our tank cap and take the stock pump out. Here is how to do that

You will need to put a petcock in the fuel tank after converting your bike to a carb bike. But it's real simple and doesn't cost much. You can buy the IMS brand petcocks for about $20 on Amazon and the Permatex fuel resistant moto seal sealant, for about $5 in Walmart
