SIS KTM Long Cage for Long Reeds - More Mid/Top End and Throttle response

This is the long cage, with the reed are cut bigger for more top end.  
 
The new inside ( high velocity ) shape, adds bottom end response as well.
 
On the 250 and mainly the 300 cc bike, the flow area of the reed cage IS the weak link, that keeps the bike from making more top end.
 
We HAVE FIXED THAT, with this set up.  You can see the gain from the dyno chart.  ( 2025 300 xcw )
You do need to use our long reeds for this cage.  They are sold separately. 
 
This comes with the reed strips and must be used with them.  You will re use your inside reed separator and main reed plate.  ( Pic 3 )
 
The inside shape increases intake velocity, which gives more throttle response, bottom end and midrange power.  ( pic 4)
 
You can see how the area is cut bigger than the stock area( Pic 2 , 4 )
 
The front inside edge is hand roughened, as this area provides the highest atomization point for the fuel / air
