Hey Dave,
After talking with you on the phone, I sent my 2024 GasGas EX300 ECU for your tune. All of the complaints that I spoke to you about were addressed by the reflash. I took the bike to some fairly open and long trails to wring it out and the missing top end is now there. It no longer noses over early. I've also taken the bike to a local very tough, very technical 5 mile single track loop. There's more power, it's much smoother, and pulls hard from idle in every situation. Actually, It's the first time I have ever completed this single track loop without stalling or falling off a few times. You'd have to be really ham fisted to stall or flame it out.
I also mentioned when we talked that my 2011 KTM 300XC, that has a lot of mods, seemed to pull harder and rev higher than the EX300. The 300XC now feels a little weak in comparison. To say I'm very pleased is an understatement. Also, not that I even worry about it, but for the guys who do worry about spooge, it seems to have cut the amount of spooge in half.
